Synopsis

Through the manipulations of those simply called They, the Hulk has been brought to the mystic land of El Dorado. What do these mysterious beings want with the Jade Giant and what does it mean for Bruce Banner? Betty Ross mentions her recent divorce which happened in Incredible Hulk #238, her father had a mental breakdown in Incredible Hulk #228. Fred Sloan mentions that the Richmond Riding Academy recently had its telephone disconnected. The Richmond Riding Academy became the headquarters of the Defenders back in Defenders #17. It burned down in Defenders #75. Jarella died in Incredible Hulk #205. Dez mentions the Avengers time in El Dorado, that happened in Avengers #30–31.
